Hi,

a question about Linux locations. I have the following

[1] SC standard is installed via Debian package. Prefixes are
/usr/lib, /usr/share
[2] SC3-plugins I built from source; make install uses Prefixes
/usr/local/lib, /usr/local/share

Is there anything wrong in giving [2] the prefixes of [1]. In other
words will I confuse aptitude if I let my own build of sc3-plugins
install stuff in /usr/lib and /usr/share? I guess in worst case, I can
remove those files again before doing updates.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, .h.h.

Ha! I just responded to yr question in the other thread, looks like we're
in the same boat here too. I am pretty sure that I symlinked this without
any issues.
