This is probably a lemma related to issues discussed in below threads -
just in case anyone also encountered it:
Recording multichannel files with server window in 3.6.6 (OS X 10.8.5) doesn't work here.
Recording stops unexpectedly, quitting server, and/or files are empty.
Stereo recording works without problems.
